Students may checkout up to 10 circulating books at a time, for 4 weeks. These
materials may be renewed twice for an additional 4 weeks each time. Audio/Video
resources have shorter circulation periods.
Faculty may checkout up to 15
circulating books at a time, for 6 weeks. These materials may be renewed
twice for an additional 6 weeks each time. Audio/Video
resources have shorter circulation periods.
When students and faculty are off-campus
but still in the continental United States, they may request books from the
library even if they are unable to
visit the facility physically. Patrons should place a hold request through
the online catalog. Staff will then mail the
books; patrons should return the books so that they are postmarked by their
due date (factoring in any renewals).
Hours
The Library may be browsed any time the IWS office is open, and appointments
may be arranged with library staff for other times. Regular IWS office hours
are from 10-4 Monday-Thursday. Library hours Friday are always by appointment
only. Students are advised to call (800 282-2977) or email ()
ahead of time before traveling to the library as staff may be out for training
or a variety of other reasons.
During the on-campus session, the library is usually staffed from juts after
breakfast until dinner—roughly 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Library is closed
on Sunday.
