The Orange Park, FL, Campus
Orange Park, Florida, a rapidly growing suburb of Jacksonville,
is situated on the west bank of the St. John's River (pictured below)
in the historic First Coast region of Northeast Florida. Its location
in the Jacksonville metropolitan area and its proximity to area lakes,
beaches, world-class golf courses and other outdoor attractions have
made this community a popular locale for both residents and visitors.
Orange Park is a short driving distance from the Atlantic Ocean.
The semi-tropical, sun-kissed climate enjoys seasonal fluctuations
but remains relatively temperate year-round.
Grace Episcopal Church (The Reverend Kurt Dunkle, Rector) is the primary host of the Institute
for Worship Studies. The church is situated on Kingsley Avenue just east of U.S. 17 (two miles south of I-295),
one block west of the picturesque St. John's River. Grace's serene campus is reminiscent of "old Florida,"
canopied by centuries-old oak trees draped with Spanish moss. The old chapel (pictured below), with its
quaint, historical nineteenth-century architecture, is still used for various activities.
Classes convene in various classrooms around the Grace campus and at the
neighboring Orange Park Presbyterian and Orange Park Methodist churches.
